Last month I blogged about some research on “fat taxes” since the topic is very much in the air and the Minister for Health, Dr James Reilly, is believed to be actively considering it. I would like to draw your attention to a very interesting post on the topic by Mike Gibney who, unlike me, knows a lot about these matters: since 2006 he has been the Director of the UCD Institute for Food and Health.
